Travis Cloney is a 2015 OF/RHP, SS with a 5-11 165 lb. frame from Wall Township, NJ who attends St Rose. Medium, athletic build with room to fill out with added strength. Strong runner, posted a 6.85 60-yard. Primary outfielder, showed short steps to the ball, fields out front cleanly with athletic actions. Throws from a short and compact arm action, gets on top of throws well generating nice carry and strength to the bag. Moves well on his feet in the infield, athleticism plays, quick release with an over the top release. On the mound showed an easy and effortless delivery, topping at 82 mph with fastball which showed heavy life, curveball showed some depth with 12-6 break. Left-handed hitter, starts with a spread stance and high hands. Generates some lift in swing and shows projectable strength with more weight shift through lower half. Good rhythm in swing, good bat speed with loose hips and a consistent swing plane. Excellent student.
