J.T. Lyon is a 2015 C/1B with a 6-0 195 lb. frame from Lancaster, KY who attends Garrard County HS. Large frame with a strong, mature build, shows athleticism. Moves well behind the plate, long arm action, developing arm strength, accurate online throws to second base. Right handed batter who starts from an upright, spread stance. High back elbow, small stride to transfer weight, stays balanced. Length to swing, pull approach, direct hand path to the ball, easy swing and shows bat speed. Very good student.
