Jared Irvine is a 2015 3B/C, RHP with a 5-10 175 lb. frame from Austin, TX who attends Dripping Springs. Irvine has a medium sized frame with some strength. Defensively, he has some arm strength across the diamond with 3B tools on the infield. He profiles better presently behind the plate and showed good catch and throw tools in the workout and blocked well in games. He works hard behind the plate and made online throws. At the plate, Irvine starts with a square stance and uses a simple load to start his swing. He stays inside the ball well and takes his hands to the ball well. He's got some hitting tools with some bat speed. Irvine pitches from a H 3/4 arm slot with a long arm action. He throws his 11/5 curve ball for strikes and pitches to contact.
