David Hamilton is a 2016 SS/2B/3B with a 5-11 167 lb. frame from San Marcos, TX who attends San Marcos HS. Slender live athletic build. Outstanding runner, 6.43 in the sixty, plenty of first step quickness on defense, sure handed actions on defense, tends to play tall through the ball but has soft hands, outstanding raw arm strength and can throw from multiple slots with carry. Left handed hitter, upper half swing, quick wrists with a short and direct path to the ball, mostly an inside path, line drive approach with hard contact to all fields, has the bat speed to open up his swing at times and drive the gaps, polished hitter who handles the barrel.
