Trey Lang is a 2013 RHP with a 6-3 185 lb. frame from Covington, GA who attends George Walton Academy. Nice projectable young pitcher's build, lots of room to fill out. Sound delivery mechanics, compact arm action with 3/4's arm slot, good arm speed with nice looseness. Mid to upper 80's fastball, topped out at 88 mph, good arm side running action at times, tries to spot his fastball and works the ball to different zones. Upper 70's slider is a good pitch with some power and late biting action, did not see a change up. Can mix pitches better but competes on the mound and has good composure/command. Has the tools and build to keep improving.
