Keith Rogers is a 2014 RHP/OF, 1B with a 5-9 185 lb. frame from East Elmhurst, NY who attends Benjamin N Cardozo. Medium, athletic build, strong lower half. Ran a 7.27 60 yard dash. Throws right-handed, works from an over the top arm slot and has some effort to his delivery. Has a quick arm and throws a lot of strikes. Fastball topped at 82 mph and has some life down in the zone. Flashes a tight curveball with 11-5 rotation at 68 mph. Deceptive delivery and knows how to pitch. Also played the field, flashes some outfield arm strength. Needs to take better routes but has range. Hits from the right side, works out of a wide setup. Stays back on off-speed pitches well, shows some power to the middle of the field. Swing stays compact and hits consistent line drives. Good student.
