Stephen Pena is a 2015 RHP/2B, SS with a 5-7 140 lb. frame from Pflugerville, TX who attends Pflugerville. Pena has a smaller frame with a thin lean build. He pitches from a 3/4 arm slot with a long arm action. Pena pitches uphill and uses a slinging arm action. He pitches with effort and gets sink on his fastball. There's more in there with lower half adjustments to his delivery. Pena moves to the ball well on the infield with good actions and hands. He has quick transfers and a short arm action. At the plate, Pena starts with a square stance and uses a rotational approach. He uses a knee lift stride to start his swing and middle of the field approach. Excellent student.
