Kevin Cordero is a 2013 OF/RHP with a 5-11 185 lb. frame from Caguas, PR who attends Royal Palm Beach HS. Medium athletic build, good present strength. Switch-hitter, short swing from both sides, has some strength in his swing, bit looser with better extension left handed, line drive swing plane, strong enough to get to the gaps. Versatile defensive player, can handle corner outfield and third base positions, has some raw arm strength, 7.15 runner, can shorten release on throws. Also pitched, slow paced hand drop delivery, 3/4's release, fastball topped out at 81 mph, tends to get under soft curveball. Good student.
