Evan Skoug is a 2014 C/3B with a 5-11 205 lb. frame from Libertyville, IL who attends Libertyville HS. Strong, powerful build, still looks young and has some projection. Catching actions still developing, needs to shorten arm action. Shows outstanding arm strength and has the footwork to play the position. Left-handed batter, hits out of a wide stance and stays balanced throughout. Impressive bat speed, ball jumps off his bat, looks like a power hitter. Consistent loud contact and gets good extension out front. Very high upside hitter. Excellent student.
