David Juechter is a 2015 OF/RHP with a 5-11 165 lb. frame from Nyack, NY who attends Nyack HS. Slender, young frame with some athleticism, body projects to get stronger with maturity. Loose arm action from the outfield, accurate throws, fundamentally sound, will be better with maturity. Right-handed hitter, mild bat wrap in stance, spins on the inside pitch, hits from slightly open setup, wide base. Swings hard, some length to it, good balance. Also pitches, gets up to 77 mph, shows occasional sink and run down in the zone. 12-6 curveball thrown for strikes, needs to get it down in the zone. Very good student.
