Cole Coker is a 2016 2B/SS with a 6-1 190 lb. frame from Huffman, TX who attends Hargrave HS. Has a large frame and athletic build, long limbs with room to put on additional strength. Posted a 7.15 60-yard dash. At the plate, left-handed hitter who starts with a wide base and a hand set behind his head. Has a toe raise trigger with a small leg lift. Takes aggressive swings at the plate with good bat speed and fluidity. Swing is on a line drive swing plane with strong pull side contact, natural lift at the point of contact. Gets extension through the baseball and has present strength in his swing. From the infield, fields the ball out in front. Has short arm action on throws from a lower slot with good carry. Present strength and good range up the middle with athletic actions. Good tool set that should continue to get even better. Good student. Named to South Uncommitted Top Prospect List.
