Connor Reich is a 2014 RHP/SS with a 5-11 170 lb. frame from Longview, TX who attends Hallsville. Reich has a medium sized frame with an athletic build. He pitches from a 3/4 arm slot with a long arm action and some arm speed. His arm works well and he has a balanced delivery. Reich has a heavy fastball and pitches with some effort. He throws a short breaking curve ball at 71 MPH for strikes. There's more velocity in there with some lower half adjustments. Reich has pitchability and projects some. Defensively, he has a long arm action and arm strength on the infield with solid actions. He also showed solid footwork in the outfield. At the plate, Reich starts with a square stance and uses a toe tap trigger to start his swing. He has bat speed and made consistent contact to all fields. Interesting arm on the mound.
