Storm Rynard is a 2014 RHP/SS with a 6-0 175 lb. frame from Raymore, MO who attends Raymore-Peculiar HS. Medium athletic build, looks taller/stronger than listed. Simple fast paced delivery, stays on line and repeats well, 3/4's arm slot, low effort release. Upper 80's fastball, topped out at 90 mph, mostly straight, works quickly and is aggressive with his fastball, locates well, has better fastball life from the stretch. Change up is a quality pitch, good feel and command with proper arm speed. Tends to slow body on slider, high velocity sliders have short flat cutter like break, more depth in the mid 70's, might be better off developing a true curveball. Good arm with nice pitching mechanics and some projection, developing his breaking ball will be key. Good student, verbal commitment to Arkansas.
