Matt Steimling is a 2014 2B/OF, MIF with a 5-5 135 lb. frame from Landisville, PA who attends Hempfield High School. Has a young developing frame and is still filling out. At the plate, he has a contact approach and showed the ability to go the other way. During the outfield workout, he showed solid hands with a clean pick-up and transfer. In the infield, he worked around the ball well and had a solid transfer and release. At the plate, he displayed a contact approach and a grooved swing plane with a one handed finish. Matt is also a good student.
