Jose Antonio Rodriguez is a 2014 SS/2B with a 6-0 160 lb. frame from Naguabo, PR who attends International Baseball Academy. Large frame, athletic build with room to fill, projectable strength. Hits from a slightly open stance with a calm approach and a big load, good bat speed, accelearates the bat well, present pullside power, has a chance to develop it to other fields as well, good use of lower half. Line drive plane, quick hands, hard contact in game action, just missed a home run foul during game action, really hit well. Soft hands defensively, long arm action, moves well defensively with quick actions and smooth hands, good footwork. Good student.

Jose Antonio Rodriguez is a 2014 SS/3B with a 6-0 160 lb. frame from Naguabo, PR who attends International Baseball Academy. Slender athletic build, projects well physically. Right handed hitter, simple sound swing mechanics, good lower 1/2 use, loose extension out front, good present bat speed with more to come, ball jumps well, best contact pulling. 7.10 runner, soft hands, smooth arm action and release, charges the ball well with a quick, clean exchange, compact arm action, accurate throws, shows athletic body control, probably best suited for second base in the future. Projectable athlete who should keep improving. Good student.
