Tyler Giovanoni is a 2014 SS/RHP/3B with a 6-3 200 lb. frame from Schertz, TX who attends Samuel Clemens HS. Outstanding athletic build, present strength and obvious athleticism for his size. 7.10 runner, looks like a third baseman defensively but has good footwork at shortstop and athletic balance, height causes him to stab at the ball at times when on the ground, has big arm strength with carry and accuracy. Right handed hitter, back side hitter, has hand quickness and strength and shows some pleasant bat speed, lacks present flow through contact, tools to improve, especially with power, with adjustments. Two way prospect as a pitcher, projectable delivery and arm action, 3/4's long and loose arm, good tempo and balance with downward plane to the plate. Mid-80's fastball topped at 86 mph, hard spin on mid 70's curveball, potential strikeout pitch with power and bite, rare change up. Follow very closely. Good student.
