Kevin Garner is a 2013 OF/RHP with a 5-11 185 lb. frame from Little Rock, AR who attends Little Rock Central. Medium, athletic build with present strength and some room to get stronger. Flashes arm strength from the outfield, inconsistent in terms of accuracy, good arm speed, actions look sound. Left-handed hitter, wide base in his setup, very good hands, quick through the zone, consistent line drive contact, excellent bat speed. Very professional game approach, line drives to all parts of the field, fluid lefty stroke with some power potential, hits to the opposite field well. Also pitches, high leg lick, stiff arm action, command will improve with better mechanics, but does repeat well now. Fastball sits 79-82 mph with good arm side action. Misses bats on 11-5 low 70s curveball. Good idea out there. Standout two way talent. Excellent student.
