Felix Burgos is a 2014 SS/RHP with a 5-9 140 lb. frame from Toa Alta, PR who attends Academia Discipulos de Cristo. Slender young build, has some athletic looseness. 7.46 runner, right handed hitter, long rotational swing, tends to pull off his front side early, occasional line drive pull contact. Young infield actions, shows some arm strength and carry on his throws, footwork and balance still developing. Also pitched, may have more future on the mound. Arm is loose and easy, throws from multiple arm angles, mostly 3/4's, pause at top of delivery for deception. Fastball topped out at 81 mph, more velocity in arm with additional strength, soft curveball still developing but flashes spin, settled down and threw strikes and competed.
