Myles Sowell is a 2014 OF/2B with a 6-1 165 lb. frame from Greensboro, NC who attends Westchester Country Day. Large, lean frame with long limbs and is very projectable with added strength. Strong runner, running a 6.61 60 yard dash. Very athletic, moves feet well in the outfield and shows sound actions. Strong, quick arm with good carry on his throws. Ball comes out of his hand easy. Quick first step in the infield, with good use of hands, and a strong arm across. Hits from the right side, keeping hands in close with an easy swing. Short hand path to ball and compact swing with good bat speed and line drive contact middle of field to pull side. Power will increase with added strength and more use of lower half in swing. Named to Top Prospect List.
