Alexis Omar Diaz is a 2014 RHP with a 6-0 135 lb. frame from Naguabo, PR who attends Juan J Maunez HS. Slender young build, minimal present strength. SImple leg raise delivery, opens lower half early and lands open in front, full arm circle, 3/4's release slot, will occasionally drop lower especially on off speed pitches. Fastball topped out at 75 mph, gets good sinking life down in the zone, tends to get under curveball for soft, flatter shape, rare change up. Good student.
