Francisco Sanchez is a 2014 OF/RHP with a 6-3 170 lb. frame from San Juan, PR who attends International Baseball Academy. Young angular build, very projectable physically. 6.73 runner, loose outfield arm, moves well to the ball, on line throws, can improve his outfield positioning and jumps. Right handed hitter, long levered swing, shows bat speed and power potential, uses his lower 1/2 well, ball comes off the barrel hard, lots of hitting tools to develop. Also pitched, clean arm action, high 3/4's to over the top release, arm works well. Steady low 80's fastball, mostly straight but nice downhill angle, soft short curveball, likely to throw harder in the future. Young athlete just growing into his coordination but has lots of tools and projection. Follow closely
