Joey Humphrey is a 2014 LHP/OF with a 6-0 160 lb. frame from Springfield, MO who attends Kickapoo. Long thin frame, young athletic build. Pitches from a three quarter arm slot with a medium arm circle with some length to the backside. Fastball runs to the arm side, projectable physical strength, rotational delivery, deliberate pace, still growing into frame and hasn't fully developed the coordination to repeat his delivery on a consistent basis yet but showed ability to throw strikes at time and has potential to develop. Hits from a slightly open stance, pull approach, aggressive swing, quick hands. Solid defensive footwork coming into the ball, longer arm action from the outfield. Excellent student.
