Rafael Perozo is a 2014 LHP/1B with a 5-11 183 lb. frame from Bronx, NY. Medium frame with room to fill, projectable build. Pitches from a high three quarters arm slot, long arm action. Finishes delivery on third base side of the mound, keeps the ball down in the strike zone. Slow 12-6 curveball with good depth, fastball runs to the arm side, repeats delivery well, good balance, showed ability to execute pitches while behind in the count. Consistent contact at the plate, rotatioanl swing with big separation of upper and lower halves, line drive swing plane, long stride, some strength to swing, pull approach. Good student.
