Edwin Lebrón Gonzalez is a 2014 C with a 6-1 190 lb. frame from Fajardo, PR who attends International Baseball Academy and High School. Large frame, strong build. Hits with a high hand set creating a long swing path to generate good bat speed. Aggressive approach, swings with intent, good backside push, power approach with some violence to swing, has power potential. Medium arm action behind the plate, plus arm strength with plus carry on throws, short transfer above shoulders, good catch and throw tools but not yet consistent. Chance to become a very interesting prospect if he continues to develop. Good student.
