Connor Olson is a 2014 C/3B with a 5-10 160 lb. frame from Plymouth, MN who attends West Lutheran HS. Medium build, wiry, looks young. Good receiving skills behind the plate, gets the most out of his present arm strength. Blocks the ball well, quick transfers, looks comfortable behind the plate, moves well. Right-handed hitter, hits from a slightly open stance, takes a big stride, leg lift trigger. Highly impressive approach, hard contact in almost every at-bat, short swing path and can hit line drives to all parts of the field. Fast bat, gets good extension out front, very loose. Has the makings of an outstanding young hitter. Good student.
