Brad Archer is a 2014 RHP with a 6-1 155 lb. frame from Lebanon, MO who attends Lebanon HS. Medium young build, starting to fill out. Simple pitching mechanics, some drop and drive, good direction to the plate but tends to drift, compact low elbow arm action, tight 3/4's release, quick arm. Consistent upper 80's fastball, topped out at 90 mph, not much effort for velocity, fastball mostly straight. Shows hard spin and sharp bite on mid 70's curveball, 11/5 shape, promising pitch, tips change up with changes in delivery and arm action, still looking for consistency in off speed release point. Young pitcher with a very good arm. Good student, verbal commitment to Missouri State.
