Sawyer Neuhaus is a 2015 LHP/1B with a 5-11 190 lb. frame from Hiawatha, IA who attends John F Kennedy HS. Slope shouldered thick build, some present strength. Compact arm action, 3/4's arm slot, rotational delivery, spins over his front side and throws around his core. Low 70's fastball, mostly straight, throws his fastball for strikes, flashes good curveball spin with 1/7 shape and some depth at times, best pitch, rare change up. Right handed hitter, wrapped start, upper body rotational swing, pretty simple swing mechanics, swings down to the ball, line drive contact, has some strength when the ball is squared up.
