Duncan Snider is a 2016 RHP with a 6-6 220 lb. frame from Muscatine, IA who attends Muscatine HS. Well proportioned extra large build, mature look for his age. Slow paced very simple and mechanically sound delivery, has been very well coached, high 3/4's arm slot, repeats very well. Mid 80's fastball, topped out at 86 mph, lots more velocity in there, cuts fastball at times glove side and shows slider potential fastball is heavy down in the zone with good angle. Hard curveball has good spin and sharp biting action at times, some are 11/5 with big vertical break, others are wide sweepers. Throws strikes with both pitches and has an advanced idea how to spot his pitches low glove side for his age. Compares to former Twins sixth round pick B.J. Hermsen in many ways. Good student.
