Colton Fergus is a 2014 RHP/OF with a 6-0 182 lb. frame from Rockaway, NJ who attends Morris Hills HS. Medium frame with an athletic mature build. Solid. Throws from a 3/4 arm slot and has a long loose arm action. A drop and drive guy with good command of the strike zone. His FB has good sinking life. CB has 12-6 break with good shape. CH is a great pitch at 65 mph. Really maintains his arm speed. He throws all three pitches for strikes and also throws all three pitches from the same arm slot. Does a nice job of keeping hitters off balance. In the OF he has good footwork and takes good routes to the ball. Made accurate throws in the workout and in game. A right handed hitter with a power approach. Tends to get out on his front foot a little too much. Looks to do damage to the pull side. Very good student.
