Cristian Mendoza is a 2015 OF with a 6-0 175 lb. frame from El Paso, TX who attends J M Hanks HS. Medium athletic build, room to get stronger. 7.01 runner with long easy strides, moves well in the outfield, sound fundamental footwork with good arm strength, quick release, made a strong and accurate game throw, nice all around defensive outfielder. Right handed hitter, early shift into contact, front side hitter and will get way out front at times, busy lower half, has quick strong hands and shows flashes of gap power, long and loose swing, tools to develop with adjustments.
