Tim Quinn is a 2015 1B/LHP with a 6-1 205 lb. frame from Media, PA who attends Malvern Preparatory. Large, athletic frame with a strong build at present. Ran a 7.65 60-yard dash. Primary first baseman, moves well off the bag, light on feet. Easy target to throw to, soft hands and picks well in the dirt, athletic actions, quick release, short arm action with strength behind his throws. Left-handed hitter, starts from a spread stance with a high hands/back elbow set. Shifts weight through his lower half well, longer bat path but generates occasional lift in swing with contact to his pull side. Allows the ball to travel, showed the ability to hit to all fields.
