Bailey Collins is a 2016 OF/1B with a 5-11 185 lb. frame from Littleton, CO who attends Dakota Ridge Senior HS. Broad shouldered athletic build, plenty of room to get stronger. Left handed hitter, has high level base hitting tools, calm approach with a quiet load and very good explosion through contact, lots of bat speed, simple and smooth swing with loud contact, has a tendency to pull off his front side against left handed pitchers and feel for the ball, patient hitter who will learn to attack pitches he can drive more consistently. Lots of tools to develop on offense. 7.27 runner, moves to the ball well in the outfield, wrapped arm action lessens raw arm strength but makes accurate throws with a quick release. Bat has a chance to be very good with some adjustments and physical maturity. Good student.
