Temple is a 5-11, 155 lb catcher from Florida with some wiry strength. He showed good quickness and arm strength for his size, running the 60 in 7.44 and throwing 76 mph during drills with a best pop time of 1.98. He looks to have solid defensive skills across the board and works hard at his defense. Temple hits out of a wide stance with a toe tap trigger and a sweeping, level swing. He made consistent hard contact both in batting practice and during games and does a good job of squaring up on the ball to all fields. Additional strength will help him drive the ball more and his current approach works well for him. Temple is an excellent student with his eye on some top academic institutions.
