Josh Boyd is a 2008 OF from West Morris Central HS, residing in Port Murray, New Jersey, with a 6'2"/165 pound frame. Josh has a solid frame. He hits from a straight stance with a knee lift trigger and top hand release. Boyd has solid hands and makes consistent barrel contact. He does get long at times and has an insde out swing. Josh has a solid release from the outfield with an accurate arm at 82 mph. He moves through the ball well and has solid actions defensively. Josh is an excellent student.
