Matt Harrison is a 2017 2B/RHP with a 5-10 168 lb. frame from Wall, NJ who attends St Rose HS. Slender young build, plenty of room to get stronger. Right handed hitter, straight stance with a quiet load, short path to the ball, mid field to opposite field approach, handles the barrel well and makes consistent contact, lacks the present strength to drive the ball but has the swing fundamentals to build on. Accurate game throws, made the routine play, tends to get his glove down late to the ball, developing arm strength. Also pitched, upper half rotational delivery, variable release slots, fastball topped out at 70 mph. Good student.
