Arien Seymour is a 2014 LHP/OF with a 5-10 170 lb. frame from Wheeling, WV who attends Linsly. Medium athletic frame with a strong build. Pitches from a high 3/4 release point with a short arm action. Smooth easy delivery with good repeatable mechanics. His fastball has good arm side run on it, and gets good sinking action on his changeup with a good arm action. Has good defensive actions in the outfield with an accurate arm. Has good footwork with a quick first step which allows him to track down balls in the gap. Has a line drive approach, has bat speed, with pop. Has good bat control, hits the ball to all fields and makes solid contact.
