Jeffrey Omohundro is a 2016 SS/2B/RHP with a 6-0 190 lb. frame from Dothan, AL who attends Houston Academy. Medium athletic build with good present strength. 7.15 runner, has good footwork in the infield, tends to play with a straight back and field underneath his body, has a good arm and gets very good carry from a lower arm slot, accurate throws, third base actions overall. Right handed hitter, hits from a wide base with a low hand set, exaggerated inside swing approach, dives his front shoulder into contact, mostly opposite field contact, has the strength to open up his swing and learn to drive the ball. Also pitched, rotational delivery with a mid 3/4's release slot. Steady mid-80's fastball, gets to the glove side with his fastball well and throws strikes, tends to get under his curveball at release. Good athlete who can keep improving with adjustments.
