Cole Hanson is a 2014 RHP with a 5-11 140 lb. frame from Cypress, TX who attends Cy-Fair HS. Slender young build, minimal present strength. Full wind up with good tempo, stays balanced and repeats delivery well, 3/4's arm slot with short quick arm action. Consistent low 80's fastball, topped at 83 mph, good sinking action at times, spots fastball well low in the zone and to both sides. 74 mph slider with spin and some depth and 2-plane shape, spots slider well to corners, some feel for a sinking change up. Pounds the strike zone and works ahead, has an idea how to pitch. Could be really interesting with a few more pounds and a few more mph's due to command and 3-pitch mix. Very good student.
