Rhett Deaton is a 2014 RHP/OF with a 6-5 182 lb. frame from Winnsboro, TX who attends Winnsboro. Extra large frame with good present strength. Pitches from a high 3/4 arm slot with a long arm action and throws easy. Pitches with good tempo on the mound, has a good demeanor and competes. He has arm side run on his change-up which he throws for strikes, his curveball has goof 12-6 breaking action which he shows a feel for and uses as his out pitch. Has a strong accurate arm in the outfield and gets to a lot of balls. Has line drive pop to the gaps with good extension through the ball, good bat speed and has lift in his swing.
