David Delgado is a 2016 3B/OF, 1B with a 5-6 175 lb. frame from Fontana, CA who attends Fontana A. B. Miller. Smaller frame, young build, will continue to develop with maturity. Primary third basemen, shows a short arm action on throws across, fields the ball out front, releases the ball quickly, made all the plays hit to him. Needs to get on top of throws, tends to get underneath. Right-handed batter who starts from a wide, crouched base with a high hand set and toe tap trigger. Showed some bat speed with a pull side approach. Line drive swing path, squared up pitches with line drive contact to left field. Good student.
