Justin Sorokowski is a 2016 3B/RHP with a 6-2 180 lb. frame from Mechanicsville, VA who attends Lee Davis HS. Taller athletic build, lots of room to get stronger. Right handed hitter, rotational upper half swing with limited lower half use, long and loose swing with fast hands and good bat speed, gets good separation and extension out front, line drive swing plane with hard contact to all fields. 7.06 runner, short quick strides defensively, stays tall and works through the ball, low arm slot causes some accuracy problems with sail and tail on throws, correctable. Also pitched, slow paced simple turn and throw delivery, fastball topped out at 83 mph, curveball had good spin and some bite, threw strikes and had a quick inning. Excellent student. Verbal commitment to Florida State.
