Jordan Castle is a 2015 RHP/MIF with a 6-2 190 lb. frame from Eagan, MN who attends St Thomas Academy. Large athletic frame, good present strength. Leg raise delivery with some bounce on his back leg, bit cross body on release, short stride out front, high 3/4's arm slot. Mid-70's fastball, have reports that he usually throws harder but had thrown the night before in a HS game, gets downhill well on his fastball, mostly straight. Soft curveball with some depth, developing change up. Right handed hitter, loads and moves into contact well, back side collapses in swing creating uppercut swing plane, swings hard and looks to pull and lift, front side opens early, aggressive hitter. Good student.
