Cooper Wilson is a 2016 LHP with a 5-11 165 lb. frame from Broken Arrow, OK who attends Cascia Hall Preparatory. Medium athletic build with room to fill out with added strength. Primary left-handed pitcher, throws from a three-quarter arm slot with a short arm action in the back. Steady tempo'd delivery, stays balanced throughout, generates good extension out front, and finishes online with lower half. Attacks hitters with a three pitch mix, fastball topped at 80 mph with arm side run and pitched off of it. Good feel for off speed, gets around curveball with 2-7 shape at 70 mph. Changeup shows late fade at 72 mph. Left-handed hitter, starts with a high hand set. Upper body swing, line drive swing plane with ability to hit to opposite field and goes with the pitch well. Swing has length but is fluid and can get hands in. Good student.
