Brandt Shilling is a 2015 2B/SS with a 5-9 160 lb. frame from West, TX who attends West HS. Athletic build with a lean, projectable frame and room to fill out with added strength. Ran a 6.96 60-yard dash and speeds play well on the bases during the game. Primary middle infielder, quick twitch athleticism, moves well on feet, full arm action on throws across the diamond, accurate with carry, longer release, stays balanced while charging in. Right-handed hitter, starts with an open stance with quick and fluid hands to the ball. Short swing with a line drive path, good use of lower half shifting into contact. Gets to front side early at times, able to loft to pull side. Shows nice tools that project with added strength. Very good student.
