Cole Meyer is a 2014 RHP with a 6-0 175 lb. frame from Las Vegas, NV who attends Palo Verde HS. Slender athletic build. Side arm pitching style, knee level release point, compact arm action, hides ball effectively, works exclusively from the stretch, Fastball topped out at 80 mph, fairly flat/straight with occasional cutting action glove side, will need to further develop fastball movement. Sweeping slider with some spin and good bite, will appear to move upwards at times, also throws slower mid-60's curveball with some depth. Has a feel for changing speeds and getting right handed hitters to reach.
