Denzel Faniel is a 2014 OF/LHP with a 5-10 160 lb. frame from Orange, NJ who attends North 13th Street Tech. Long frame, thin athletic build, immature physically with a lot of remaining projection. Hits from a crouched stance, high back elbow, compact swing plane with a contact oriented approach, uses whole field well, projectable strength could allow him to begin driving the ball as he matures physically, quick bat with good barrel control. Good range defensively, moves to the ball efficiently, lacks extension to throws, arm projects. Good student.
