Sam Crawford is a 2015 SS/2B with a 5-10 150 lb. frame from Cedar Rapids, IA who attends Linn-Mar. Has a medium frame with an athletic build with room to fill out. Has developing actions on the infield with lateral movement. Footwork gets him to the ball, has an arm that works and is accurate, will add more velocity with maturity. Has a slightly open stance at the plate with high hands and minimal load. Has a level swing, stays inside the ball well, has a contact approach at the plate, does a good job of getting his hands through. Is an outstanding student.
