Joey DeFeo is a 2015 3B/1B with a 5-8 173 lb. frame from Andover, NJ who attends Newton. Medium, strong build. Shows an accurate infield arm and has a quick transfer. Fields the ball deep, and shows some agility. Moves well around first base also. Bats right-handed, works from an upright, narrow base and carries his hands low. Makes line drive contact and has good wrists. Also took the mound, reaches 70 mph with his fastball, and shows a feel for his 11-5 curveball. Keeps his delivery compact and throws from a three-quarter arm slot. Has an easy arm action and throws a lot of strikes. Very good student.
