Alexander DeVos is a 2015 OF/ with a 6-1 185 lb. frame from Georgetown, ON who attends Christ the King. Large, athletic frame with long limbs, projectability, and nice present strength to his build. Ran a 7.96 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, shows athletic actions to the ball and gets body behind it well, full arm action on throws with accuracy and some strength. Right-handed hitter, starts with a wide base and a high hand set with a slight knee bend. Barred start, shows a short path to the ball with a quick bat coming through the zone. Generates lift in swing and creates consistent line drive contact to the middle and pull parts of the field and shows strength to the opposite field as well, hard contact during in game at bats. Shows a nice feel for the barrel. Very good student.
