2014 West Coast Underclass Showcase
Johnathan Summers is a 2016 SS/OF with a 5-9 150 lb. frame from Lakeside, CA who attends El Capitan. Medium frame with room to fill. Hits from an open stance with a high hand set, long stride, good use of lower half and showed a line drive swing plane, solid bat speed at present with looseness to project with strength development. Good release time on infield throws, light on feet and works through the ball well, also showed solid range in the outfield during games. Good student.
